CCSA singers took the stage on Thursday night during the Violins and Voices Concert held at University United Methodist Church. This annual event features three performing groups, Junior Chorus, Prelude Choir, and the YOSA Philharmonic Chamber Strings.

This concert was special for our youngest singers in Prelude Choir. In preparation for their upcoming concert at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts, Prelude performed for the first time onstage with Junior Chorus. We are proud of the accomplishment and courage of these choristers.

Karli Anderson, Conducting Intern, directed Junior Chorus in The Earth is Our Mother from Two Native American Songs arranged by Barbra. Ellen Meltzer from Youth Academy accompanied the ensemble on recorder.

At the end of the performance, Shine on Me arranged by Rollo Dilworth with string arrangements by YOSA Music Director, Troy Peters, showcased both groups for the finale.

We’ve arranged a short set of video clips with peeks at several of the performances from the evening.
